I set up an app about a month ago, an now users are getting the following message when attempting to authenticate:

This application cannot authenticate more users at this time.

How to I increase the number of allowed authenticated users?

Does this app have access to the Ads API?

Hi Andy,

We did apply for access to that part of the API, however as we develop that section we’ve not made that available to our users. Only our development users / testers have access to that section.

The entry level of the Ads API only enables a limited number of user tokens.

Per the overview:

The Developer license provides companies access to all Ads API endpoints to develop their tool to completion. Developer-level partners are limited to five OAuth tokens and are prohibited from exposing any Ads API functionality to external advertisers.

Hi Andy,

I thought that would only apply to users making use of the Ads API not the whole application.

Only a couple of test account would be making use of the Ads API.

Ok. The limits apply across your application? Are you actively using the Ads API now? You could request for that access to be removed, or transferred to a non-production test app.

I had scheduled a time slot this morning with the Aps API team, however no one showed up for the meeting.

Are you able to remove the Ads API access and lift these restrictions?

Hi, apologies that you were not able to have that conversation today - I’ll check in with the team, but unfortunately I’m unable to remove the Ads API access myself.
