There will be rate limiting on downloading media from DM for paid accounts?

Hi,

Currently we manage corporate Twitter accounts and some customers get many images and media on their DM inbox. We auth out request and we are able to get the media.

We detected that when we want to download many images (we upload them to our own server so it’s available for longer time), we get rate limited. This is complex if we manage many corporate accounts, it’s key for some of our customers to be able to see the media their clients send, so then can answer correctly.

Our questions are the following:
1.- Are there plans to document this? It’s seem is not documented anywhere, but we face the issue.
2.- Will this be fixed for payed accounts?

@_clopez - The limits on media download are pretty low.

We don’t have a path to elevated access at this time, but the feedback is helpful to potentially address this in the future.

What can we do to get the media in the mean time? We where subscribing many apps, so we provide one Twitter app per company so we can have a decent limit for this volume but with the new API this is more difficult.
