The statuses' favorite_count attribute is gone?

I am using the filter streaming API. A couple of days ago, all tweets came with a favorite_count attribute, yesterday only half of them did, and today none of the statuses have it.

Has the favorite_count attribute been deprecated or is it a temporary glitch?

If it has been deprecated, is there a place where these changes are documented so the developer community can get a heads-up & make sense of the changes?
