The percentage of tweets returned by the streaming APIs

Hello,
I’m using the Twitter Streaming APIs and I have one question.
As said from here, the stream API returns ~1% of the whole stream volume. I wonder if this amount will change when I adjust input parameters.

Concretely, if I specify the bounding box to a small city, do I get more than 1% (or even all the tweets posted from there)?

Thank you very much.

Most likely yes, you will get all the tweets.

On average, roughly 6000 tweets are generated every second. This means, if your filter matches less than 60 tweets in a given second, you will probably get all the tweets in your stream.

Check out the LIMIT notice to confirm that your stream is not missing tweets.
