Dear all,

I hope you can help me since I haven’t been able to contact Twitter. I have an academic account where Twitter automatically created my research project. I followed Twitter instructions and made an app within the project to get the keys. However, after a few hours of creating the app without using it, or coding the app is suspended.

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong because if I don’t create the app I don’t know where I can see the key in order to code in R. I’m a bit confused in the dashboard of the project said that the project has the just one API, but when I created I was suspended.

Can someone help me? I only have one Twitter account, and the project is not suspended rather the app was created within that project.

Any tip, advice direction will be very helpful!!

Best!!!

It was probably an automated suspension. The thing to do is to fill out the App is suspended or restricted form and wait unfortunately

Thanks!! I will try that is the second time that happened to me :frowning:

I also have exactly the same issue… I do not know which of the rules could have been violated because I have just registered the account a couple a days ago in order to apply for academic access, (which I have already been granted), and created an app only because it was suggested as a next account registration step. I have not used this app all because I was waiting for the response to the academic access application - just generated the keys and saved them.
