Stuck in email verification loop on developer portal

I’m trying to apply for a twitter API key via https://developer.twitter.com/en/portal/petition/essential/basic-info but it seems to be stuck in an endless loop of attempting to verify my email. An verification email gets sent out, then I click the link and it says succss, but then I cant do anything in the portal. If I go back in, the sequence starts again

Has anybody seen this / know how to progress and get an API key?

this just started happening to me today. I was stuck in purgatory for while and was recently revived, but just today i’ve been kicked back to the verify email loop.

Hi All - here are a couple different things that may be helpful for debugging:

1- Accounts may be incorrectly redirected if the developer account is rejected. Many accounts are rejected due to “lack of response” from the applying developer when our teams ask for more information about the use case for the API via email. Check the email verified at the start of the application for any communication from developer-accounts@twitter.com (note this email cannot receive emails, only used for support case chaining)

2- There was a brief issue which caused a handful accounts to lose access in the last couple days, posted here on our status page: Twitter Status - Detected/resolved account access errors

3 - There are several FAQs, links and details on the Developer Accounts support center here, please reference and submit a ticket if you are still unable to access and have reviewed your email for communications.

Same for me I am stuck with the mail verification it is obviously broken
