Hello,
Here is my use case: I want to create a tool to help (twitch) streamers display tweets from their audience on their live stream.

Every streamer (users using my tool) is allowed to add one keyword/hashtag to track live tweets.

With the API v1, since this was a user context endpoint, I was able to get 1 filtering rule per user.
With API V2, using the app token, I would be limited to 25 rules and so 25 users.

Did I understand correctly?
Does this mean I have to use API v1? Is it safe to use or is it going to be deprecated at some point?

Any other idea?

Thanks for reaching out. This feedback is very helpful.

At this point, there is a limit of 25 rules per App using bearer token authentication. We may expand the number of rules you can create as we launch more product tracks, products, and features.

Thinking about your use case, recent search may also be an option here.

At this point, it is safe to use v1.1. However, you can read more about timing related to the retirement of any v1.1 endpoints on the public roadmap , and be sure to follow @TwitterDev for news and updates.
