Statuses/update with error: 32 'could not authenticate you'. Node - twitter-lite

Hi guys,

I’m trying to tweet a message, and in response I’m getting error 32 with ‘Could not authenticate you’ message. I’m sure that credentials are correct, because I’m also using same instance (same creds) for getting users screen_name with GET statuses/show/:id.
What is more strange, that sometimes I don’t have this error and I can answer with no problems, but in majority of cases I have this issue.

Maybe someone have had the same problem as me?

I found that my problem is exactly the same as POST to /statuses/update.json started hitting error 32 "Could not authenticate you." with no code changes

Messages with ! or ’ returns error with code 32. Someone still has that issue?

Unsure if the ! in the Tweet is causing this…

Check relationship of the two users involved (original Tweet author, and user that is replying) if both are publically available or following one another.

The request for GET show/:id can be completed using app-only auth, however the POST statuses/update requires app-user auth.

Also, looking at the requirements for POST statuses/update, JSON format is required and to create a reply and the parameters: in_reply_to_status_id: and the @user must be included for a successful reply.

Before I wrote this post, I checked everything You wrote about.
I am sure that ‘!’ and " ’ " in message was the cause, because When I wanted to answer for same tweet, same user, but without these chars, it was working correctly.

I changed npm module for Twitter connection handling and now answering is working correctly.
