Static access tokens have changed

Was told that the access tokens found here, https://apps.twitter.com/ , are static. Mine changed yesterday without warning and broke some functionality (also happened a couple of months ago). Is this normal? Not sure why this is and would like to avoid this issue in the future if possible. Can I fix this? Perhaps I can tweak a setting or two to help with this? Do something else?

This shouldn’t occur - is there any chance that someone else has access to your account and clicked the “Regenerate My Access Token and Token Secret” button?

Not that I know of…weird.
Only that button you mentioned can change the access tokens?

There should be no reason for the tokens to change unless this is done manually.
