Starting Api Twitter in Visual Basic 2010

Hello! I’m a new beginer in this world using Api Twitter, but I have knowledge about Visual Basic. I don’t know where I must to start with Api Twitter, neither what libraries, and I would like to learn some programming focusing on Visual Basic.
I would like start doing easy things like authenticate and get username from my profile and get followers…
Can someone teach me something of this? some tutorials, videos for beginers,…What libraries shoud I use for Visual Basic 2010?

Probably one of the best starting points would be to look at one of the third party Twitter API libraries for .NET, which you could then use in a VB.NET app. Maybe some of them have samples you can try out.
