SSL error on platform.twitter.com

It’s been two days with this issue. Chrome and IE aren’t opening twitter, just the mobile version.

Whenever i open my twitter on chrome it says ssl error. But the other apps like facebook works. Can somebody tell me how to fix this please.

The same here. It’s 2 days since I get an SSL error on Chrome & IE. Now I’ve signed in to twitter using Firefox. The strange side of the story is that non of the settings on my pc/network/wi-fi, I mean nothing, has changed since my last normal twitter visit 2 days ago!
I used another ISP, but useless. And another strange part is that other websites using secure connection (https) like facebook working normally. So we may conclude the problem must be on twitter itself, not our devices/connections.

@benward I am not able to connect to twitter through google chromeas it is showing some SSL connection error. Plz Check and do the needful ASAP.

Same here. Every other websites works except for twitter. This is the message:

"Cannot connect to the real twitter.com

Something is currently interfering with your secure connection to twitter.com."

I have the same issue and probably is related with avast plugin in Chrome, because if i deactivate it, the tweets then shows.

We need a solution from Twitter team, because we can not tell to our visitor: “deactivate your plugins”

I work in Emergency Services and response to Wildfires and my Twitter account is set up to receive new Wildfire announcments. It’s critical I be able to access my Twitter account. PLEASE GET THIS SSL PROBLEM FIXED. I have tried every fix noted on the Web including typing “proceed” on the keyboard and nothing. Four days, no work, no ability to access my account.
