Some tweets, like 781341032382423041 have a media but don’t have any media entity when you try to retrieve it using this api call: https://api.twitter.com/1.1/statuses/show/781341032382423041.json?include_entities=true
But you can clearly see the video added to it and no url pointing to this video: https://twitter.com/denoteclothing/status/781341032382423041
Use the new tweet_mode=extended parameter to retrieve the full media entities for the new longer Tweet formats. This is documented here and announced here - so far we have enabled the tweet_mode and attachment_url parameters, with the new replies behaviours coming soon.
tweet_mode=extended
tweet_mode
attachment_url
It works, thank’s a lot.
Unfortunately this parameter is not yet described in Twitter Rest API documentation.
Correct, this will be added across the documentation in the near future - apologies for the confusion this has caused - we’re working on a number of changes at once!
