Smaller value of "mobile_conversion_installs" from API than twitter panel

I have tried to get the “mobile_conversion_installs” value from API. Based on the ticket Mobile app installs in V1.0, I added up assisted, post_engagement and post_view to get the total. But the total value returned is much smaller than what shown on Twitter’s panel.
We have enabled Appsflyer as the MACT.

Here is how I called the API:
for each line_item from the account do this:
metric_groups = [:BILLING,:MOBILE_CONVERSION,:ENGAGEMENT]
opts = {:granularity=>:day, :start_time=>“2016-08-17 00:00:00 UTC”, :end_time=>“2016-08-18 00:00:00 UTC”}

Did I do anthing wrong here?

Seconding what Hector suggested above.

It might be also be easier to compare a single campaign’s results in the UI and the API, to make sure there are no confounding factors and that we are comparing stats for the same entity on the same time period.

As I can see from your screenshot and your api response is:

Screenshot -> 9 Installs
API -> 7 Installs

In my opinion, the problem is the placement. In the Ads Panel, you see TWITTER Placement + TAP Placement (ON ALL CHANELS as you can see in the dropdown)

In the API you only request for ALL_ON_TWITTER.

You should request it too for TAP

Hi Hector,

I think i know the reason of the off. In my twurl I used start_time=2016-08-17T21:00:00Z&end_time=2016-08-24T21:00:00Z since it is required to be only 7 days.

Based on the screenshot the install from 08-18 to 2016-08-24, the install number actually matches the api call.

My last question is regarding the first screenshot of this ticket, does the conversions number include some post-app events that were listed as conversions as well?

The conversions TAB in the top of the page, “92” in your first screenshot, shows ALL conversions combined, installs + app-events + web pixels…
