Please make sure you are URL encoding the parameters correctly. Also what do you mean by “don’t work”? What is the actual error message?
The public search API only supports about 7 days of history so you will not be able to get data for the period you are requesting.

It is not possible using the API. If you need that data, there’s a partner company, called Gnip which offers this as a paid service.
