This question is motivated by the SHA-1 algorithm deprecation for new certificate signatures (see eg http://csrc.nist.gov/publications/nistpubs/800-131A/sp800-131A.pdf, page 14). Our app uses the REST API to retrieve Tweeter info. We have noticed that the SSL still uses a SHA-1 signed certificate. Is there any plan to upgrade this to a SHA-2 signed certificate? Do you have any timeline or information that you could share around this? It would be much appreciated. Thank you very much!
