I would like to create a “Send a Direct Message” button for one of my clients on Twitter. I saw the documentation that said" “Send a private message call-to-action will appear in supported clients. Other clients will just see a deep link that is fully-functional”. Also, what are the “supported clients”?
If I am not using any Twitter partners mentioned, can I still create a button? When I tested the code specified in this support " Moving from a public Tweet to a private conversation" article, it just displays the URL in the tweet, not a button.
