Hi! I was logged into my Twitter account on my Mac on Chrome since June 11 but have not opened it since. Yesterday, while looking at the active sessions on my phone, I noticed that my Mac had been active two days prior…I started digging and found time stamps of what I was doing around the time of the ‘active’ session. I was shopping through Amazon and, at the same time, an https site called ‘servedby.flashtalking’ (an advertisement platform) was called. Was my data from Amazon being sent to Twitter to cater my feed? If so, that’s fine, but I want to understand and confirm that this is why my Account was ‘active’ on my Mac when it hadn’t been touched since June 11th or is there another, more harmful reason. Please please please advise.
