Use case: count the number of Tweets posted today, containing a specific cashtag.

In the standard Twitter API (v2), filtering searched Tweets on Cashtag is an Advanced Operator, only available with Academic Research access, and therefore unavailable to me. Source: Building queries

Therefore, I looked at the Search functionality of the Premium API, which got me to the following link: Premium operators. Even though under the operator “exact phrase match”, it says For example, quoted “$cashtag” will match “cashtag” but not $cashtag (use the cashtag $ operator without quotes to match on actual cashtags., the operator for Cashtag $ is not listed. Does this mean the operator is not available in the Premium API?

And if so, does that mean that to gain access to the Cashtag operator, Enterprise API is the only option? (In the operators for Enterprise, the cashtag operator is listed: Operators by product

Any help is greatly appreciated. If any additional information about my use case is required, I am happy to add it. And I’m also open to any other alternative solutions if possible.

Warm regards.

Yeah, looks like $cashtag search is Enterprise only Operators by product | Docs | Twitter Developer Platform

Thanks for your reply and confirmation. I also managed to run a query containing the $cashtag operator in the Premium Sandbox environment, and it also stated that the operator was not supported. So it indeed seems that the $cashtag search operator is Enterprise only.
