Search widget don't show top tweets

My website makes use of the Twitter search widget (and some css styling) to display latest discussions around the subject (Burnley Football Club).

However, despite having the option for top tweets turned off, they still display. I want the latest tweets at the top, not the most popular. I understand setting top tweets to true simply highlights them, rather than hiding them.

Is it possible to not show top tweets at all?
