Looks like all the following problems with search have returned

Users search doesn't show up some verified account REST API v1.1

Hi, Today I experienced some weird behavior on the /1.1/users/search.json REST API endpoint. when I look for a specific user, it doesn't show up in the search results. It seems to occur only with verified accounts. for example requesting /1.1/users/search.json/q=BRITAwards or /1.1/users/search.json?q=samsmithworld won't return me those user, even if the query matches exactly the screen_name of those particular users. I usually do those query via twitter4j in Java, but I did the testing with…

User/Search API Paging Issue

People search only returning 20 results in API and on twitter.com REST API v1.1

I am using "https://api.twitter.com/1.1/users/search.json" People search is only returning 20 results until today it returned a lot more. This is true even on twitter.com and the twitter app, people search only returns 20 results in both. Has something changed in the API?

Unfortunately I got the same problem here. Hope twitter fix this problem as soon as possible.

Also in twitter.com, User Search results only show up the first 20 accounts.

GET users/search endpoint returning inaccurate results as of a few hours ago REST API

As of a few hours ago the users/search endpoint is returning inaccurate results. For example a search for "Barack Obama" will not even return Obama's verified Twitter in the first 20 results. Can we get this fixed?

Hi,

I openned that thread Users/search endpoint does not return the most relevant users few weeks ago.

The problem was fixed but seems to be back again.
Any investigations on this?
