Search only on the "timeline" scope (statuses/home_timeline or friends_timeline)

I have read all the API documentation and I can’t find anywhere how to limit a search to only show results from the people I follow, this is possible on the web:

https://twitter.com/search/timeline?q=tengo%20hambre&src=typd

You can choose between “Tweets: Top / All / People you follow” and I want to make a search from “People you follow”.

Is there any way to do it?

It’s not possible in the API, unfortunately.
