Search API problems using the until parameter

I’m using the search API to get tweets from last month, however if i set the until parameter of the search API it always returns recent data rather than data from the date i set on the parameter.

So can you tell me whats the best way to obtain data from specific dates from Twitter

Using the search API it’s hard to retrieve old Tweets as it only contains very recent Tweets, as opposed to the Web Search. I think the oldest you can get is about two weeks old, maximum.

Thank you very much ePirat, it’s clear to me now, however, its there any way to get old tweets through an API, or its just not possible? Its there any documentation about it all?

It is impossible, therefore there are no docs about that.
There are commercial services though like Twitter’s Gnip that offers that.
