Hello,

I see that the new trends endpoints for the v2 API have been added to the roadmap (nesting) 2+ years ago.

Is there any visibility that can be shared as to whether this is actively being worked on internally at Twitter? And a rough estimate of timelines for release? Months, years?

Thanks, @edouard_iosdev. I can confirm that these endpoints are on the roadmap and are “nesting,” for lack of a better term.

At this point, I can’t give you an ETA yet, but I know this is something we’d like to deliver in the future. I do hear you, this feature has been on the roadmap for a while, and I can tell you that work has been slow on this particular feature.

I’ll keep an eye out for updates but will look for an alternative data source for the time being.

Hoping to see something coming out of this because that would be super cool to see a great alternative to Google Trends which doesn’t even have an official API.
