Here is my test case:

@ABC twitte a message ‘Hello’
-
@BCD is following @ABC, and it retwitte the message ‘RT @BCD: @ABC Hello’

@EFG is following @BCD but not @ABC, then he retwitte the same message ‘RT @BCD: @ABC Hello’
But when I call the API method statuses/mentions_timeline and statuses/retweets_of_me for account @ABC, I got nothing back. The only way I can retrieve the retwitte messages is call search/tweets with @ABC, then I got the two retwitte message back.
Why statuses/mentions_timeline and statuses/retweets_of_me are not working on the retwittes?
