In version 1 of the API, I used retweets_of_me and retweeted_by to find out which of my tweets have been retweeted, and who reteweeted them. Both of these methods have been removed in the new API. Is there a workaround, or can anyone from twitter tell me that these two will be added later on?
As mentioned in [node:10644], there are still a few remaining methods to bring over to API v1.1. statuses/retweets_of_me will not be making an appearance in 1.1. You can view your own tweets that have been retweeted by examining your user timeline and noting which have non-zero retweet_counts.
As for other related retweet methods, stay tuned.
I assume this information changed? It seems statuses/retweets_of_me has indeed made it into API 1.1, is that correct, @episod?
Yes, statuses/retweets_of_me is now part of API v1.1
I am unable to get the retweets_of_me via the rest api.
I am getting a 403 error when I submit the following request ‘https://api.twitter.com/1.1/statuses/retweets_of_me.json?count=5’
I have connected to the ‘/statuses/user_timeline.json’ and ‘statuses/show.json’ without any issues.
Can I please get assistance?
