The engineering team has tracked down the issue and implemented a fix. It will be deployed tomorrow (Wednesday), so you can expect to see retweeted_status again in the Search API results.

I will update this thread when the fix is in production.

Still, it doesn’t work here. Same happens on the web app. Somes examples:
This tweet has one RT: https://twitter.com/ivanviragine/status/486625496198033408.
When searching for “@ivanviragine” https://twitter.com/search?f=realtime&q=%40ivanviragine&src=savs, it doesn’t show the RT.

Another example:
This tweet has 6 RTs (as I’m typing): https://twitter.com/gilbertokassab_/status/486642380364595200
When searching for “plínio @gilbertokassab_” https://twitter.com/search?f=realtime&q=plínio%20%40gilbertokassab_&src=typd, still, it doens’t shows.

Am I missing something?

i have my settings set to retweet but in my tweets the retweet button is not available even though it IS available on all my followers tweets. how come i am the only one whose tweets cant be retweeted?
