Retrieving tweets on a specific subject/topic

Hi All,

We have a requirement to retrieve all tweets having a specific word daily, eg: “Telerik”, “Canada”…etc occuring in discussions throughout twitter and store them locally for some analytical purpose. Please let me know what is the process for this. Do I need to create a twitter application for this?

Yes you need to. If you need all Tweets containing that word, you need to buy special access from a service partner like Gnip
