Retrieving the tweet id one has replied to

At page https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/tweets/timelines/api-reference/get-statuses-mentions_timeline there is an API example response that shows a tweet reply object. I see two pairs key/values:

    "in_reply_to_user_id_str": "14927800",
    "in_reply_to_user_id": 14927800,

But how can I retrieve the id of the tweet which has been replied?

Hello,

In the example you’ve mentioned the status isn’t a direct reply to another stats, hence the in_reply_to_status_id_str is set to null

The reason status is a direct reply to a user (starts with the user Twitter username).

If the status will be a reply to a different status, you’ll see the original status id in: in_reply_to_status_id_str
