An acquaintance on Twitter has identified a botnet with close on 100K accounts, tweeting a mix of scam-spam and propaganda.
There doesn’t seem to be a way to make Twitter aware of this sort of thing. The spam reporting route is per-account, and the impersonation route via a support ticket doesn’t fit the case.
Suggestions?
