We’ve tried to reply a tweet using “POST statuses/update” and setting in_reply_to_status_id field from Twitter API. Althought these replies were created and mentionning the right user, we were expecting these replies to be shown below the parent tweet.
Precisely, we are using The Twitter Ruby Gem to update.
For example, this tweet https://twitter.com/petfuturocraque/status/785816664512274432 was replied, but there’s no reply below. Instead to associate the reply id with the parent id, it was posted here: https://twitter.com/educaplim/status/785854947959115776.
