I’m currently trying to get my Twitter cards working, but this error keeps appearing.

ERROR: FetchError:exceeded 4.seconds to Portal.Pink-constructor-safecore while waiting for a response for the request, including retries (if applicable) (Card error)

Can you tell us the URL you tried with?
This error usually occurs, when your server takes too long to send a response.

When I use this URL ( http://blacksheephtx.com/2015/02/kendrick-lamar-debuts-blacker-berry/ ), I receive an email stating to make sure the page contains valid metadata, then reapply for a Twitter card.

I just checked it, and your website does contain the right metadata, but sometimes takes a long time to return a result. Please make sure your webserver delivers the page in about 3 seconds, preferably much faster and try validation and whitelisting again.
