Hello All - Apologies if already addressed. Our single tweet embeds require a refresh to display on our Squarespace website. Same issue across OSX/IOS/Chrome/Edge/Safari/Brave. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your kind welcome and link. That’s where I got the embed code for the tweets that do not display properly in Squarespace. Can you please advise?

How do you mean they don’t display properly? Tweets that are deleted will not display and may not load - is that the case?

No. The graphic elements of the embedded tweet do not display. Only the text. Here’s a screen shot. Thanks very much!

This happens if the tweet is no longer public, or if widgets.js was not included in the page, or the tweet was loaded after widgets.js was already fired - often, the solution is to put widgets.js script tag at the bottom of the page, after all the blockquote for tweets have loaded.

Does that tweet definitely exist? also, does that HTML code get dynamically loaded, if so, you will need to manually trigger widgets.js - see Embedded Tweet JavaScript Factory Function | Docs | Twitter Developer Platform

Thanks! Yes. The tweets exist. I do not know if the HTML is dynamically loaded. It’s a typical Squarespace template. Just in case, I copied the script from the link. I tried locating the cod block on the bottom of the page. When that didn’t work I moved it to the top. No luck. In both cases, I needed to refresh the page to see the graphic elements of the embed. Thoughts?

I don’t know but Squarespace templates are often dynamically generated - so i would investigate there. Do you have an example of the tweet that won’t load and the page you’re trying to load it on? (You can use preformated text format to post the urls)

Any idea why I’m getting an error message: cannot link to that host.
I’m using the 

 tag before and after my urls.
