Recommended way to retrieve woeid for Trends API

What is the recommended way to get woeids for the Trends API?
Yahoo does not seem to support the API to retrieve woeid anymore. The link referenced in the docs is broken.

From their updated weather docs
“We don’t have API to get woeid for now.”
