Submitting the form, once everything validates, is just the first step. It then takes a few weeks for our team to review and approve submissions. You will get an email when your submission is approved (or rejected for a technical or policy reason).

I’m encountering the same problem. Our standard summary cards were approved long ago, but in filling out the form to add large-image cards, “Website Twitter Username” is both required and disabled. Thus, “Reason: is not a valid screen name”.

Ours is for ‘gallery’ type Twitter Card, but it will not allow me to enter Website Twitter Username (greyed out, but required!) - I just keep getting “Reason: is not a valid screen name”.

My completely uninformed guess is that it’s an issue resulting from adding card options — we were originally approved about a week after the original cards were announced, when “Website Twitter Name” wasn’t a required field, or didn’t even exist. Database migration problem.

Hello I recently had my twitter account suspended and never recieved a response to why it was suspended. Ive filed four appeal’s to get it unsuspended and responded to the email to open a ticket. It has been about 3 days and I have recieved no response from twitter and would like to know if anyone is looking into the matter. respond ASAP please.

I’m having the same issue, trying to request approval for the Summary Large Image card type. The field for ‘Website Twitter Username’ is greyed out in the request form. My URL is datawovn.com.

It’s worth being aware that the screenname is case sensitive. Make sure you’re not just grabbing the twitter.com/myscreenname.

If the @ name displaying on your profile is @MyScreenName, then this is the value you need to enter.
