I’m currently developing a TwitterWall, a nodeJS tool which will create different streams (https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/tweets/filter-realtime/guides/streaming-message-types …)
Now if I have different walls running the same time, I read that I could hit a rate limit.
(Exceeded connection limit for user)
Here are my questions:
- Is it allowed to have more than 1 persistent connections (streams) open the same time?
- if not, what is the best way, to handle the use case to listen to tweets from different hashtags?
It is not an option to just have one stream and listen to different hashtasg as I can’t detect which tweet belongs to which wall as hashtags could appear in both walls.
