Rate limit for statuses/destroy/:id

Hi,

What is the current rate limit for /1.1/statuses/destroy/ ?
As per the documentation below:
Note that endpoints/resources not listed in the above chart default to 15 requests per allotted user. But I am able to perform more than 15 in 15 minute interval.

The same page also states that any limits related to write-capable endpoints are account limits, not API rate limits. The daily DM limit is 1000, broken into 15 minute windows. There are also algorithms that detect excessive use of an endpoint to avoid spam, which may cause the actual applied limit to vary.

Hi Andy,

Thanks alot for your response. The account limits link gives information about sending Direct Messages (1000 per day), Sending Tweets (2400 per day) & following related limits.

But I didn’t see any rate limits documented on the following apis:

1. https://api.twitter.com/1.1/statuses/destroy/:id.json
2. https://api.twitter.com/1.1/favorites/create.json
3. https://api.twitter.com/1.1/favorites/destroy.json

In the above response you have provided me information regarding daily DM limit i.e. Direct Message limit but I am expecting the details regarding above 3 api’s.

Deleting DMs would be included in the DM endpoint.

We don’t publish the creation/deletion account limit for favorites, but the automation rules would be a good guide e.g. don’t enable automation around this, and therefore behaviour that appears automated and/or spammy would be picked up by our antispam systems.
