I was trying to set up a wordpress plugin for twitter stream called Twitget.
I had created an application several times and erased it several times as well and ran into the following error message.
“Rate limit exceeded. If you believe you’ve received this message in error please file a ticket at https://support.twitter.com/forms/platform”

At this point I don’t have an application and can’t seem to create a new one. What do I have to do?

I’ve got the same issue when trying to create new application from apps.twitter.com website “Rate limit exceeded. If you believe you’ve received this message in error please file a ticket at https://support.twitter.com/forms/platform”

In order to use this plug-in, you’ll have to create a Twitter application at apps.twitter.com. That is part of the config it appears in that WP plugin. I’d suggest working with that plugin provider if you have questions on how to configure it or use it.

We can help with how to set-up a Twitter application if you already know the steps required to use the plugin from that provider.
