I have used the Sandbox environment, in order to form some test requests and get some historical tweets using the full-archive endpoint. I am now in the process of upgrading my account to Premium, in order to retrieve the rest of the data I am interested for. I have opted for 100 requests, however I noticed that the cost to upgrade my account today is less than $99, meaning that I will not have 100 requests for this month (the renewal date of my subscription is on the 1st of each month).
Is there a way to purchase 100 requests before the renewal date of my subscription on 1st Nov? If not, I was thinking of upgrading my account at the start of November and get 100 requests then, but I am not sure if the full-archive endpoint of Premium v1.1 will be deprecated in November. I would prefer to make all outstanding full-archive requests using v1.1, as I am already familiar with this version of API. Will the full-archive endpoint in v1.1 be deprecated anytime soon?
Any insights on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
yeah this is really annoying about premium: Developer account support | Twitter Developer Platform
When you upgrade to a higher paid tier of premium, your total number of requests for that billing period will be the number associated with the paid tier. In other words, your paid requests are not additive to any sandbox requests that you might have made throughout the month.
For example, if you have used 240 requests with the sandbox tier of Search Tweets: 30-day and decide to upgrade to the 500 total requests paid tier, you will have an additional 260 requests during the subscription period for a total of 500 requests.
So if you’ve used sandbox calls, it’s worth while waiting for the rate to reset before upgrading! It baffles me why they did it that way.

I see, that makes sense. Thanks a lot!
