PUT accounts/:account_id/targeting_criteria is missing the events property

I can’t find which property is used to update the events targeting, I guess is just events but the docs should be wrong anyway.

Take a look at the parameters, you won’t find the events property:

Event targeting is currently immutable, and not supported on the PUT accounts/:account_id/targeting_criteria endpoint.
