Pulling Twitter Trends from dedicated "lists"

Is it possible to pull the Twitter top trends from only the Twitter accounts in certain “lists” ?

Currently, I see how we can view trends from a certain country or from everywhere in Twitter, but it’s from ALL acconts.

For example, I want to make a list of journalists from certain newspapers and then view top keywords trending among THOSE accounts.

This is not a service which Twitter provides. You could certainly follow the timelines for those lists and do your own keyword analysis on the text, though.

Any ideas on how to run keyword analysis on a lists – any parts of the API you can recommend or other already-built tools?
