Hey everyone,
I’ve been trying to get an app set up the past couple days, and I’ve run into a tricky problem. First, I applied for a dev account and app from my main twitter account (@M0zrat) , assuming that would let me create a bot under a different handle (it doesn’t, unless I’m missing something). This app was approved, but once I realized it would only let me automate my own twitter account, I made a new account and applied under that one, then foolishly deleted my first app, since I thought I wouldn’t need it.
My second application was denied, even though it explained the situation and had all the same information. Reason for the denial wasn’t provided beyond a standard boilerplate about the usual reasons things are denied. Now, I could apply again, but it seems like I’ll be wasting my time. What should I do? Should I reapply with my main account? Did I miss a way to use my main account to make an app that operates a different twitter handle?
I’m a beginner at this stuff, if you can’t tell. Any help is greatly appreciated!
