Problem with width and height property

#1

Hello

I am inserting this code on my website:

<a class="twitter-timeline" href="https://twitter.com/CentroArje" data-widget-id="504008365723230208" data-chrome="nofooter"  width="800" height="450">Tweets por @CentroArje</a>
<script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=/^http:/.test(d.location)?'http':'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=p+"://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");</script></code>

But it does not take the width and height properties according to this documentation: https://dev.twitter.com/docs/embedded-timelines#customization

Can you please help me? Thanks.

From https://dev.twitter.com/docs/embedded-timelines#dimensions:
"The minimum width of a timeline is 180px and the maximum is 520px. The minimum height is 200px."
A width out of those bounds is ignored.

Hello,
I have the same pb. I tried with several height for my widget (300 px, 400px, 500px…) and it does’nt change anything, the window still open in 600 px height…??

Could you please fix my pb ?

If I copy that code in an empty page it works properly. Is there a way we can see the real page you have problems with?

You’re right.
The code works in a blank page.
But at my url :
http://www.lemondedubtp.com/contact.html” the widget is inside a CSS block:

#twitter {
width: 750px;
text-align: center;
padding-top: 20px;
padding-bottom: 0px;
line-height: 160%;
margin : auto;
background-color: #f0f0f0c;
border-left: 0px solid #000000; /* couleur du cadre */
border-right: 0px solid #000000;
border-bottom: 0px solid #000000;
border-top: 0px solid #000000;

It seems that the pb comes from the block. But there is no precision concerning the height.I don’t anderstand the trouble.
Thank you for your help…

Ok,
I fixed the problem.
Inside my style.css, it was a block call “iframe” wich was defined at 600px height.
I canceled it and everything works find now.
Thank you for your help.
