Hi, I’m John and yesterday you give me the possibility to have the access to an academic research account to develop my academic work.
Thank you first of all, I really appreciate. However I have a problem: when I log in my developer portal, I can see only project with standard access and not the research one with which I would develop my work. Moreover If I go in the products and Twitter API v2 section, I can see in the right, at the center of page, two panel: Standard Basic and Academic research. If I choose Academic one, I can see a belt in a red circle where it is written:

"Your Project has reached the limit for applying for Academic research access:
AI: how from the data is possible to predict a trend”

However I never done any type of research with the access given yesterday to me.
Can you unlock the access please?
I’m sorry for the problem and I hope you could resolve the problem.
Thank you for the attention and the patience. I hope you could unlock the access and give a tray to develop my academic work.

You may have got your Developer account approved with Standard access, but the Academic Access is a separate application and may still be in progress - if you haven’t been rejected - maybe that can explain it?

I have approved also the Academic one, because yesterday I received this email ‘Thanks for applying for access. We’ve completed our review of your application, and are excited to share that your request has been approved.’ So I was accepted also for the Academic one, but I can’t develop my Academic work because in the dashboard appears only the Standard project sections and I have no contacts to meet in touch with twitter help desk for this type of the problems. How can I do?
Thank you for the patience and the attention.

Oh, if you have “Academic Research” in https://developer.twitter.com/en/portal/dashboard you may have to add an App to the project, but if there’s some other problem, maybe someone from twitter can help - maybe a screenshot can help explain. Twitter people read these forums but a more direct way to get help is with Platform

Thank you for the answer. I have another type of problem, because I had the email that informs me the application done, but in the main dashboard I can’t see the academic research field, but only the standard one. Moreover if I go in Twitter API v2 section, I can see the academic field with the project API name which I asked for with an error.

I didn’t do any type of research and the error tells me that the project has reached the limit for applying and I don’t know what it means, on back of the access given me yesterday. I asked on platform and I hope they could unlock the situation as soon as possible.

@IgorBrigadir I have to ask a question: yesterday as you suggested to me, I opened a help request with Platform, but I have no response. Have I to wait or I can do anything else? I ask because I’m new on Twitter and I have to try to begin my academic work. I waited for many days to have a response for the academic request, now I wouldn’t wait other time long. Thank you for your patience.

yeah, they sometimes take a week or two to answer unfortunately

As @IgorBrigadir said, It takes time! You’re lucky; it was taking forever when the Covid lockdowns first started back in March 2020
