Problem: Unable to render Card preview

When I use the card validator, I get the following message:
Unable to render Card preview

The log says the following:

INFO:  Page fetched successfully
INFO:  5 metatags were found
WARN:  Not whitelisted

Please help me troubleshoot why it won’t render a card.

Check that you’ve been through the list of steps in this post.

When I visit your page, I see an error about no route found in my browser, and no Cards markup in your page.

I’ve gone through those steps.

The page returns correctly with all of the expected meta tags when I get it via curl with the Twitterbot user agent name.
We aren’t blocking anyone via robots.txt

Is there some way to get a deeper explanation of why it is failing?

That’s odd.

When I fetch the page with the Twitterbot user agent I do see Cards markup. When I fetch it with a browser, I don’t.

I see you’re using Meteor, I wonder if something in the server side rendering isn’t playing nice with the Cards crawler.

Running the validator I get

INFO: Page fetched successfully
WARN: No metatags found

I use the user-agent to serve another page than the one being shown in the browser.

You will see the meta tags are there, if you run

curl https://foljeton.dk/9068/merkel-med-maend -A Twitterbot

INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 13 metatags were found
WARN: Not whitelisted

So here some tags are found, but it’s still “Unable to render Card preview”

I have <meta name="twitter:card" content="summary_large_image"> and I’ve tried all the things listed in this thread and in Not Whitelisted, unable to render, or no image: READ THIS FIRST

I could really use some more elaborate debugging info.
