Problem connecting to Twitter

Hi Guys, sorry i m not a techie. I was trying to set up the login api with twitter, but have encountered an error and i believe i had correctly gotten the consumer key, secret and the access token and access token secret set up to allow login to my wordpress admin.

However it came back with an error of: having a problem connecting to twitter. How do i further trouble to find the bug?

It sounds like you’re trying to do something with Wordpress? I’m a bit confused here. You shouldn’t need login with Twitter to access your Wordpress admin panel.

Its where i set up for users to sign up or log in with twitter. It was to authenticate the users through this application created at twitter and coming back to my site where they could be logged in and be redirected to their home page.
