I am doing some research corresponding human attitudes and human behavior. It is crucial for me to distinguish advertisement tweets, tweets of bots and non-advertisement tweets of real users. I am using streaming API to collect tweets with certain keywords.
I wonder if it would be against the rule to put tweets, together with user profiles on Amazon Mechanical Turk to get it labeled as advertisement, tweet of bot, or non-advertisement of real user? How about hiring people to let them work on some local computers owned by our research team? If both way do not work, does anyone have some idea on what could be allowable to get the data labeled?
Many thanks.
Hi @yolandalyx — I suggest you raise a ticket via the API Policy Support form (select “I have an API policy question not covered by these points”) and someone will be able to help you.
