Possible to move through cursored results backwards?

#1

Hello, I was wondering if there would be a way to move through the results returned by the followers endpoint backwards.

Because new followers are added at the beginning of the list, because of the rate limiting, and because some accounts gain followers very quickly, I have found that requests begin to provide quite a few duplicates.

If I could get the last cursor (or something pretty close), I could move through the list backwards an avoid this problem.

Or, I could generate something that will get me close to the end of the list, and move backwards from there, if I could understand the scheme twitter uses to generate cursors.

Any advice would be useful. Thanks in advance!

You have any luck figuring a good way to do this?
