we have managed to make some progress in player card implementation for desktop.
However, we are still facing some issues with player card rendering on mobile devices (shows up as a summary card).
To help you reproduce this on mobile device (ipad/iphone/android), we have updated this page:
https://testcma2.clt20.com/twitter_cards/ (don’t worry about SSL cert, it’s self-signed one used on test server only)
- tweet button will post summary (should be player) card on your timeline
- “player” link will take you directly to the https enabled smartembed player page - which works if accessed directly (by following this link) on mobile but fails to play if iframed in player card.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
