Player card does not work in Twitter app

Player card works fine in web page, but not streaming in Twitter app.

It seems to work fine in the iOS app once you tap into the Tweet detail view.

Thanks for your reply. I went into the detail view, it does nothing when I tap the play icon in IOS app, and it linked me to my host to play the video instead of playing in the app when I try it in Android.
Another question is should it also be playing in the Tweet list?

It will not show in the timeline, you’ll need to click into the Tweet detail view.

This really breaks the UX, really there isn’t anyway my player card’s video can be played without having to open the detail view?
