Player Card does not respect device mute on iPhone native client when playing in-line

#1

My player card plays video in-line in the iOS native app, but unlike some other implementations (i.e. Vine), the video shows the ios player controls, does not respect the device mute switch, and has no volume control. My understanding is that in this case Twitter is using the video hosted at the player stream and not the player url where I have my content that can be iframed (and can therefore add controls or mute it, etc).

I’d be happy to share an example URL more privately
